If you are roaming in the European Union, I cannot recommend Lifecell of Ukraine enough.

For 300 UAH/month (roughly £5), you can get 10GB of roaming in the European Union, there are other options for more roaming data. An e sim can be downloaded directly from the app to your phone, however there is an e sim fee of around 50UAH (less than £1)

The EU for the above cases is defined as; Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Cyprus, Hungary, Italy, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden. Lifecell offers a 'Gigabytes without borders' promotion on this plan too, check up on which countries this includes at the time.

Alternatively, Orange Moldova also offers full EU roaming with their 'eSIM Diaspora' offer. For 100MDL (£4.29), you can get 7.82GB of data for 30 days valid throughout the European Union.
